Hammerschlagen Contest
“When all you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.”
And for Hammerschlagen, a hammer is precisely the tool for the job. It’s a race to see who can drive the nail in the fastest. Borrow a hammer or bring your personal favorite and compete in this contest of strength and skill. The winner will receive a free T-Shirt and Tool Library membership.
Mural Painting & More
If hammering nails into stumps isn’t your thing, you can lend a hand in beautifying the Tool Lending Library instead. Add your artistic touch and help add color to our new garden-inspired mural.
For little ones, we’ll have coloring and puzzle activities, plus fresh veggie taste tests and lots to explore in the garden.
On-site T-shirt Printing
Bring a T-Shirt or pick one from our hand-thrifted collection and watch as it gets imprinted with the Regenerating Paradise logo right there in the Garden.
Tool Donations Welcome!
We will be accepting donations of used tools in good condition. If you are bringing larger tools, email tools@regeneratingparadise.org ahead of time to ensure we have space. Thank you!
What is the Tool Lending Library?
The Paradise Tool Lending Library is designed to be a community resource hub. Our first priority is to provide a selection of useful tools tailored to the needs of folks on the Ridge. We want to ensure everyone has access to the right tool for the job so that we can all take care of our homes and properties.
As the Library grows, we plan to host gatherings and educational workshops to help the community learn important land stewardship and home improvement skills while weaving the support network that helps everyone thrive.
Location
The Paradise Tool Lending Library is located at 5446 Foster Rd., Paradise, inside the Paradise Community Garden.
Please park along Foster Rd or Damrow Ln. Please do not park in or block the Deja Vu Nursery entrance or parking lot.
